Senior Year is winding down. Main Evidence : The Last Senior Bar is coming up this Sunday! We have really saved the best for last. We all get together to celebrate just one last time at one of the World's Best Bars, Mantra, in Boston. (a block from the Park street T stop, 52 Temple Place)
If you signed up and participated in the Last Senior Standing Competition - you'll get free cover until 11PM - a very generous offer from Mantra - whose cover is normally around $20. For everyone else, cover will be reduced to $10 all night.
Once a bank, the former vault downstairs now holds the Om Bar, a super VIP room where those delicate cocktails are poured to perfection. The winners of the Last Senior Standing Competition (you know who you are), along with the house with the most participation (shout out to Winthrop House), will be invited to enjoy the night in the vault where they will find their own DJ and bar.
The main floor upstairs meanwhile is a dining space and hookah pipe lounge that becomes a club-like space once the music gets going. All of the Class of 2008 is going to pack it into this ultra trendy lounge to enjoy the end of our classes and the kick off of our last reading period. Juan Carlos Farah '08 has generously offered his skill to make sure the excitement and aura of the night comes to life as he steps behind the spin tables to DJ one memorable night.
Doors at 10PM. Dress Code Strictly Enforced. No Sandals, Sneakers, Hats, Torn Jeans, etc. This is a classy place - so class yourself up a bit.
